Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (February 18, 2021) Kicking off their 2021 season this Saturday at Arizona Speedway, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series will begin their fifth year of competition and third under the ASCS banner.

The 65th event to be contested by the Non-Wing tour since its inception, Saturday’s showdown is the first of the dozen events to be contested at the Queen Creek oval in 2021. More events are in the works at surrounding facilities. Updates on any additions will be posted as they are made available.

Going into the first round of competition, Ryan Murphy enters the season as the defending tour champion. The fourth driver to top the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series in as many years, the Tucson driver was winless in 2020 but used consistency to stay atop the standings. Looking to claim a second title, the 2021 season will also see him searching for that first win.

Saturday, February 20, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MT). Tickets are $20 for adults with kids 11 and under admitted free into the Grandstands. Pit Passes are $35 with youth 7-12 only $10. Children under 6 are free in the Pits. The weekend card includes IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, and Bombers.
