Rain Strikes ASCS Regional Tours, Washing Out Heart O’ Texas Speedway And I-30 Speedway
Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (May 2, 2019) Mother Nature is not playing nice for the Regional Tour of the American Sprint Car Series, with the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprints presented by Abilene Powder Coating at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. rained out, as well as the matchup between the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South and ASCS Lone Star Regions at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas.
Heart O’ Texas Speedway was slated for Friday, May 3 with I-30 Speedway on Saturday, May 4. Despite the rainouts, several other ASCS events are still on the weekend lineup.
Friday, May 3 will headline with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network going head to head with the Capital Renegade United Racing Club with Round 1 of the Eleven Oaks Farm Battle of the Groves at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Penn. Races get underway at 7:30 P.M. (ET)
Presented by Terry Mattox Promotions, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region will take to the Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla. Race time is set for 8:00 P.M. (CT).
Saturday, May 4 sees Round 2 of the Eleven Oaks Farm Battle of the Groves move to Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Penn. with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network again pairing with the Capital Renegade United Racing Club. Races are set to begin at 7:00 P.M. (ET).
Showtime for the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps, at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo. the 8th annual Impact Signs Open Wheel Showdown will include the ASCS Sooner Region, as well as POWRi WAR Sprint Cars and Midgets. Races at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” begin at 7:05 P.M. (CT).
