ASCS Southwest Returns To Arizona Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (July 6, 2016) The Carlyle Tool ASCS Southwest Region returns to competition this Saturday, July 9 atop the clay of the three-eighths mile Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz.
The season’s 11th round of competition, Saturday’s trip to the Arizona Speedway is the fourth on the year. In three previous rounds of action, just as many drivers have made it to Victory Lane.
The Summer Season Finale for the Arizona Speedway, after this Saturday’s showdown the Arizona Speedway will go on break until Labor Day.
Offering up a $1,750 winner’s check, Rick Ziehl continues his trek to his ninth consecutive Carlyle Tools ASCS Southwest Regional Championship with a 63 point advantage over Bob Ream, Jr.
Colton Hardy, who topped action at the Arizona Speedway on March 19, sits third 101 point back with Lance Norick and Casey Buckman completing the top-five in tour standings.
Kaylene Verville, Jesse Baker, James Aragon, J.T. Imperial, and Cody Sickles make up the top-ten.
Saturday, July 9 at the Arizona Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing getting underway at 8:00 P.M. (MST). The night will also include Sport Mods, ModLites, and Bombers. For more info log onto www.ArizonaSpeedway.net or call (480) 926-6688.
