TULSA, Okla. (July 4, 2016) Making the turn towards the Midwest, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network will add another track to the every growing list of stops across the ASCS Nation with the Grizzly Nationals at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9.

A regular stop for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, the three-eighths mile oval is the third in “Big Sky Country” to see action with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network and is the only track in Montana scheduled to host the National Tour in 2016.

Track No. 141 for the National Tour, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. leads the charge into the Gallatin Speedway with a three race winning streak and a 119 point advantage over Johnny Herrera.

Out of 845 A-Feature events, Hafertepe is only the sixth driver in National Tour history to win three in a row. Prior to Sam rolling Turkey, Jason Johnson was the most recent in 2012. The interval between streaks was 171 races. The longest streak of consecutive National Tour wins is held by Gary Wright, who won five out of five in 2003.

Going into the Montana double-header, Hafertepe leads by 119 markers over Johnny Herrera. Rolling back into the top-three, Wayne Johnson posted a pair of runner-up finishes at the Fred Brownfield Classic to push past Logan Forler who slipped to fourth, 177 points back from Johnson.

Blake Hahn holds fifth with Aaron Reutzel sixth. Losing a car, and a pair of engines during events at the Grays Harbor Raceway, Reutzel will look to rebound this coming weekend.

Seth Bergman sits seventh with Matt Covington slipping back to eighth.

Co-Sanctioned with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, a tie exists at the top of the point standings as Canada’s Skylar Gee and Montana’s Trever Kirkland look to see who will walk out with the lead. Kelly Miller holds third with D.J. Brink and Bryan Gossel making up the top-five in driver standings.

Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9 at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing both nights at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Admission is $20 for adults, per night, with kids 12 years and younger admitted into the grandstands for free.
