Hill Eager to Return to Action This Weekend at Short Track Nationals

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (Sept. 30, 2019) – Following a rare off-weekend on her racing schedule, Alex Hill is looking forward to returning to the track this weekend.
Heightening her excitement will be competition in one of the major events on her schedule – the 32nd annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires. I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., hosts the ASCS Mid-South Region event this Friday and Saturday.
“I’m excited to go back to Short Track Nationals,” she said. “It’s a great event.”
Following a career-best event result last year, Hill is looking to improve her finish by at least one position this Saturday night.
“Our main goal is usually to make the A Main, especially at a big race like this,” she said. “We came really close last year and missed it by just one spot. I think we can make it this year if we can avoid bad luck.”
While Hill doesn’t consider I-30 Speedway to be her best track, she hopes that her overall improvement this season will continue this weekend.
“It’s not really my type of track,” she said. “But I’ve been able to get around there better as I’ve gained more experience there. We’ve been better at most tracks this year than in previous years and we hope that will be the case again this weekend.”
