| Tri-State Speedway Management Cancels Event |
TULSA, Okla. (July 3, 2007) – The O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series has competed in front of a packed house at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK, over each of the past five years. And the series was set to do so once again on Friday night, July 13.
However, new track management partners have opted not to honor contracts already agreed upon between the American Sprint Car Series and Tri-State Speedway, thus forcing the cancellation of the July 13 event.
While several other speedways had expressed interest in the July 13 date, the late decision by Tri-State Speedway management makes it infeasible for any other facility to take the date at such late notice.
The American Sprint Car Series regrets the late cancellation. All complaints should be directed to Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK, at 918-436-2914. |
