Among the top contenders for the $60,000 Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters championship, Travis will make a run for a second National title in 2009.
Travis has consistently been a front-runner among the Lucas Oil ASCS ranks over the past decade, with last year's ranking of ninth his eighth time among the top ten in final points. Travis has ranked among the top five on five occasions.

The second-generation racer broke onto the ASCS scene in a big way by ranking sixth in 1998 National points and earning Rookie of the Year honors. After climbing to fourth in points in 1999, Travis ventured out and captured Rookie of the Year honors with the NCRA and All-Stars in successive years.
