ASCS Gulf South at GTRP and Battleground Rained Out
BEAUMONT, Texas (March 9, 2016) The rains have arrived, and with it the chance of racing washed away for the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Southern Trailer Works at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas and Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas.
According to ASCS Gulf South Director, Keith Johnson, flooding conditions have already gripped the area and with more rain in the forecast, track officials at both facilities have had to cancel this weekend’s double header.
The races will not be rescheduled.
The next weekend of action for the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Southern Trailer Works is Friday, March 25 at the Cotton Bowl Speedway and Saturday, March 26 at the Bronco Raceway Park. Both nights are co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network.
