Hahn Looking to Build Speed Following East Bay
TAMPA, Fla. (February 26, 2015) Blake Hahn kicked off his 2015 season with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real at Tampa's East Bay Raceway Park, coming away with the goal of building speed going into this weekend at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla.
Missing the call on Thursday night, Hahn was able to rebound the following night, but was forced to take a provisional into Saturday's $10,000 to win feature event, "The JR1 Chassis was fast out of the box. We had a bad draw the first night that set us back the first night, but we learned quite a bit the next two nights and I think if we keep that going this weekend in Ocala we should be alright."
Leaning on the knowledge of Gary Wright during the first three nights of the 2015 season, Hahn has great expectations going into this weekend's events at the Bubba Raceway Park.
"Gary taught us a lot of good stuff, so we are looking forward to this weekend. We went and checked out the USAC show at Ocala and I noticed a few things that I think we can take from what Gary showed us and make our car better for this weekend. He said it's a really fun track, you just have to get used to it."
