Back to School Weekend Special for ASCS Southwest
Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (August 12, 2013) The Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region of the ASCS Nation comes back from its summer break at the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. on Saturday, August 17 with a back to school special presented by Allscapes Racing.
Thanks to several donations, kids entering the grandstands will receive Backpacks with school supplies! The number of Backpacks will be limited so make sure to get there early.
The region’s second visit of 2013 to the one-third mile oval, Rick Ziehl picked up his second regional victory of 2013 on June 15 at the Arizona oval. Ziehl continues to lead the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region, maintaining a healthy 213 point advantage over Joshua Williams. Billy Chester, Lance Norick and Kaylene Verville complete the top five in driver standings.
Events on Saturday, August 17 are slated to begin at 7:00 P.M. (MST) with gates opening at 5:00 P.M. Admission is $15 with the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region joined by the Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, and Renegades.
