Ziehl tops Southwest Region at Canyon Speedway Park
Bryan Hulbert - PEORIA, Ariz. (June 15, 2013) Rick Ziehl notched his second triumph of 2013 with the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region at the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. on Saturday night.
Leading the first 22 laps, Ziehl surrendered the top spot to non-wing ace R.J. Johnson before the high line opened for Ziehl to bolt to the point on Lap 24. Johnson settled for the runner up spot with Colby Copeland rounding out the podium despite the loss of brakes half way through the night’s 25 lap feature event.
Joshua Williams and Bob Ream, Jr. completed the top five with the remainder of the top ten consisting of Lance Norick, Joshua Williams, Mike Martin, James Aragon, and Kaylene Verville.
