Click Here for More Information. TULSA, Okla. (January 25, 2010) – Gearing up for another year of premier Sprint Car racing in the Great Lakes area, the Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP has set its slate for 2010.
The 31st year of SOD racing action is currently composed of 27 nights of competition at 15 different tracks throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and the Canadian province of Ontario. |

TULSA, Okla. (December 26, 2009) - After snaring his first career Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt championship in 2008, Goshen, Indiana's Brett Matt doubled up by emerging atop a tight four-way battle for the top spot in 2009.
With just 28 markers separating the top four in final points, a runner-up finish in the season finale at Hartford was enough for Mann to secure the crown by 18 points over Gregg Dalman, with three-time series champ Tim Norman another two points back in third. |

| Shane Stewart Wins Canadian Sprint Car Nationals |
OHSWEKEN, Ontario (September 19, 2009) – One of the main questions heading into the Fifth Annual Arrow Express Canadian Sprint Car Nationals weekend centred around the mystery driver of Tim Norman and Joe Gaerte’s #3g entry.
When the final checkered flag flew on Saturday night, everyone knew who was behind the wheel of the “1.0” chassis built by Norman and Gaerte, as Shane Stewart captured the $9,000 winner’s cheque.
Stewart took the lead from Tim Kelly on lap seven of the thirty lap A-Feature, and raced through slower traffic to seal the victory over hard-charging Chuck Hebing and ’08 Nationals winner Wayne Johnson.

| Daggett is King of Michigan; Mann is SOD Champ! |
HARTFORD, Mich. (September 11, 2009) - Dustin Daggett nabbed his fifth career "King of Michigan" title by topping Friday night's 25-lap Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP main event at Hartford Motor Speedway.
Daggett took the lead away from Brett Mann on an early restart and slipped away from the field for an ASCS overall-best eleventh feature win of the season in front of Mann, who secured a second consecutive ASCS Sprints on Dirt championship with a runner-up finish.

| Daggett Takes Crystal; Dalman Wins STC Title |
CRYSTAL, Mich. (September 5, 2009) - Dustin Daggett won Saturday night’s Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP feature at Crystal Motor Speedway. The victory completed a season sweep for Daggett of all three ASCS SOD features with the Mott Motorsports Gaerte powered Maxim Chassis.
The night also crowned the first mini-series champion for the 2009 season with the ASCS Sprints on Dirt as Gregg Dalman clinched the MAHLE/Clevite Short Track Challenge title. The four points Dalman secured by winning the previous night’s event at Winston Speedway were the difference between himself and Daggett for the title.

| Dalman Smokes Winston for First Win of 2009 |
ROTHBURY, Mich. (September 4, 2009) - Gregg Dalman had run well all season without finding victory lane during 2009 until Friday night at Winston Motor Speedway.
Dalman drove by Dustin Daggett during a mid-race restart to win his first Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP feature of the 2009 season aboard his Dalman Motorsports Kistler powered Maxim Chassis.
Dalman took the checkered flag in front of Dustin Daggett, with Gary Fast, Ryan Ruhl and Tim Norman rounding out the top five.

OWENDALE, Mich. (August 29, 2009) – Saturday night's scheduled Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP event at Owendale Speedway has been rained out and will not be rescheduled.
The ASCS SOD series resumes action with a pair of events next weekend, including a Friday night (September 4) stop at Winston Speedway in Rothbury, MI, and then a Saturday outing at Crystal Motor Speedway.
Those two events will also serve as at the final two legs of the MAHLE/Clevite Short Track Challenge, with the ASCS Sprints on Dirt season championship event to follow on Friday night, September 11, at Hartford (MI) Speedway Park. |

| Daggett Does It Again with Merritt Win |
MERRITT, Mich. (August 15, 2009) - Dustin Daggett continued his domination of Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP competition Saturday night at Merritt Speedway.
Daggett passed early leader Tim Norman just past the halfway mark in the feature and motored to his ninth victory this season in series competition in the Mott Motorsports Gaerte powered Maxim chassis.

| 2010 Membership Registration Forms Available |
TULSA, Okla. (January 28, 2010) – Another action-packed year of American Sprint Car Series competition is just around the corner. And with that, 2010 Driver Registration forms are now available at www.ascsracing.com.
Drivers planning on competing with the American Sprint Car Series in 2010 can register for just $150.
Drivers do not have to be ASCS members to compete in ASCS sanctioned events, however drivers must be members to be eligible for contingency awards and year-end point fund monies and to be covered under the series' insurance policy.
Crew members may join as well for just $100. Membership for drivers and crew members also assures a pit pass price of no more than $30 at any Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters event or any ASCS Regional event.
