TULSA, Okla. (December 26, 2009) - Lincoln, Nebraska's Jason Danley made some history in 2009 by becoming the first driver to capture two different ASCS Regional championships in the same year by topping both the ASCS Midwest and ASCS Northern Plains point charts.
Danley finished among the top-ten in eight of 13 ASCS Midwest feature events, becoming the fifth different ASCS Midwest champion in as many years by taking the title with a 64-point margin over Chad Humston, who cracked victory lane a series' best three times in 2009. |

RISING CITY, Neb. (September 13, 2009) – Even though the American Sprint Car Series Midwest championship was just out of his reach, Chad Humston didn't let that fact dampen his spirits in Sunday night's season-championship finale at the Butler County Motorplex.
Humston outdueled Brian Brown on the opening circuit and went on to lead all 25 circuits of the torrid affair to collect the $2,001 winner's share in the track's 'Race to Remember' Tribute to 9/11 that was postponed by rain from Friday night to Sunday.
While Humston added an ASCS Midwest series' best third victory of the season, Jason Danley became the fifth different series champion in as many years after racing from 19th to sixth to take the crown by 64 markers over Humston.

| Bruce Captures Nebraska Cup at Eagle! |
EAGLE, Neb. (September 12, 2009) – "Holy cow, I'm worn out!" Tony Bruce, Jr., exclaimed as he climbed from his Sprint Car on Saturday night.
And for good reason, as the Liberal, KS, shoe had just outlasted Jesse Hockett in a classic slugfest atop the high-banked, 1/3-mile Eagle Raceway clay oval to collect a hefty $5,000 ASCS Midwest Region winner's share and the coveted Nebraska Cup.
After Tige Jensen and Brady Bacon traded stints out front in the opening twelve rounds of the 30-lapper, Bruce and Hockett stepped to the head of the pack and traded the point numerous times before Bruce finally put a couple of car-lengths between himself and his Missouri chaser to secure the checkered flag aboard the Rider-powered No. 18 Maxim.

Brown shot past Jack Dover on the second round and led the rest of the way to snare his second series win of the year with the Missouri State Fair serving as a backdrop to the big, ½-mile clay oval.
