Bio Notes and Stats: After Karts as a teen and full midgets with ARDC after college, Dave turned to sprint cars and made the 300 mile trip each weekend from Brewerton, NY, to race at the tracks in Central Pennsylvania.
Dave moved to Central PA in the '80s and, driving and maintaining his own car, he raced full time for 6 years. Dave still traveled to run races with the Outlaws in the east and midwest and raced at the mile tracks at Syracuse and Springfield. Dave has Sprint Car wins at tracks in Central PA and Ohio with top tens in Outlaw and Allstar events. His biggest win came at the Labor Day Classic at Port Royal, beating Doug Wolfgang, Jim Nace, Steve Smith Sr, and most of the top PA drivers and cars in the high paying open show.
During the 90's, Dave moved back to NY to help his father in the family business but when the business was sold, he was back in the cockpit in 2000. Since then, Dave has fielded his own cars again with crew chief Greg Moteyunas, competing with the ASCS Patriots in New York State.
After adding another pair of top ten feature runs to the ledger in 2007 to rank tenth in ASCS Patriot points, Dave has posted another half-dozen top-ten feature finishes over the past two seasons, missing out on the top ten in points by just one position in 2009.
