Bio Notes and Stats: The 18-year-old is set for the inaugural season of ASCS Lone Star Region competition after ranking seventh in his first full season of Sprint Car action at Cowtown Speedway last season.
In addition to three top-ten feature finishes in weekly competition at Cowtown, Shawn also posted a pair of top-ten runs in ASCS Gulf South action at Beaumont's Golden Triangle Raceway Park during the 2008 season.
After climbing from the modified Go Kart ranks, Shawn snared the Junior Mini Stock championship at Cowtown Speedway in 2004 before ranking among the top ten for three consecutive years in street stocks.
